Went to Itadaki Japanese Barbecue last night to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The entire evening was flawless from start to finish, and I can't recommend this place enough. The food was truly incredible. We ordered the A5 Sirloin, and it was a showstopper – melted in our mouths and had the most amazing flavor. Every dish we had was top-quality, and the interactive experience of grilling at our own table made for a really fun and memorable dinner. A huge shout-out to our server, Yin. He was really cool, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His excellent service definitely contributed to our fantastic night. For anyone looking for an exceptional Japanese barbecue experience in Bellevue, Itadaki is the spot. The combination of unbelievable food (seriously, get the A5 Sirloin), a great atmosphere, and outstanding service makes it a 10/10.

A Culinary Experience Beyond Compare Dining here was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm welcome to the attentive service by two servers, every detail was thoughtfully executed. The highlight was the tableside grilling, where the skilled griller not only prepared the meats to perfection but also shared insights about the process, cuts, and flavors, making it an educational and delightful experience. Warm sake paired beautifully with the meal. We chose the eight-course tasting menu, and while it was on the pricier side, the quality, presentation, and artistry made it worth every penny. Having read mixed (Negative) reviews beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised to find the service and experience far exceeded expectations. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a journey of flavors and hospitality that stays with you. Highly recommended!

Came once for lunch and another time for dinner. Both times the food was amazing. Their meat quality was very good, however dinner was pricey. Lunch was spectacular. I got the waygu peanut butter burger and it was a great deal for 10. Would return (especially for lunch)

Took my dad here for an amazing early Father’s Day’s dinner. My server Jim and Sicily took amazing care of us and presented everything wonderfully. Kudos to Jim for explaining each dish. The quality is superb and everything you pay for. Everyone must try this once in a life time experience !!!

I visited during restaurant week and chose the 65 set, with an extra charge to upgrade to the Wagyu steak—and it was absolutely worth every penny. The chimichurri sauce paired beautifully with the steak, and the other dishes like the chawanmushi and 釜飯 (kama-meshi) were equally impressive. I’ll definitely return for the quality. One downside: the server seemed inexperienced with cooking and handling the steak. A bit more training would help—honestly, I felt I could have grilled and sliced it better myself.

Did not order any bbq, review solely on Uni dishes and wagyu tartare. Love they are serving a la carte now. I tried the Uni Toast, Uni Lobster Handroll and the Uni Salmon Roe Chirashi. All the uni they served is from Hokkaido. Very fresh and sweet. I have heard they were serving uni from other places that had a bitter taste, but when we went the Hokkaido uni was great. I didn’t think I would like the uni toast but it was surprising good and melted in my mouth. Lobster uni handroll was great too but my favorite was definitely the Salmon roe uni chirachi bowl. Service was great, the waiter explained the entire menu and gave great drink recommendations. Forgot to take photos of the drinks. My husband ordered the million dollar baby, it’s very sweet so he loved it he always likes the girly drinks. I had a sour plum one, forgot the name but it was good. Atmosphere and decor was too notch. Definitely justifies the price. My husband and I spent 300 food and drinks (no bbq) and we were very full. They have free parking in the garage, just don’t forget to validate your ticket.

I had an amazing New Year’s Eve dinner at Itadaki Yakiniku! The service was top-notch—everyone was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was classy but still really comfortable, perfect for a special night out. The food was incredible. We went with the eight-course menu, and everything was delicious, but the steak? Absolutely mind-blowing. It was tender, juicy, and probably the best I’ve ever had. I also tried the oolong martini, which was strong and had a unique, earthy flavor—definitely something different but really good.
